Role: IT Service Desk Engineer Location: Hereford Salary: Up to £30,000We are working with a outstanding MSP in Hereford who have gone through a period of exceptional growth over recent years and are continuing to invest in there IT team. They are seeking an IT Service Desk Engineer to join their team carrying out 1st / 2nd Line Support for their customers. Excellent career progression opportunities as they continue to invest and drive the growth of their IT provision. What will you be doing as an IT Engineer? You will work closely with the IT Manager and other IT Support Engineers supporting BAU 1st / 2nd Line Support and working on a multitude of projects currently in flight. Some duties will include 1st and 2nd Line Support to users via phone, email, ticketing systems and in person. Software and Hardware support; Network maintenance and provisioning; Provide IT advice and training to users; Deliver a proactive, efficient and effective User support service; Liaise with Users to determine requirements; Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for support and licensing; Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT equipment; Ensure all User software is up to date; What experience do you need as an IT Engineer? Previous experience carrying out 1st and 2nd Line Support ideally within a Service Desk environment Experience of supporting Microsoft based operating systems including Windows 7/10 and Server 2008/2012/2014 Strong working knowledge of Office 365 Active Directory Ticket system ..... full job details .....
