Head of Building Maintenance Job Title: Head of Building MaintenanceSalary: £65,000Reporting to: Property Director - EstateJob Level: CPurpose of Position:Oversee and enhance the maintenance of the built estate, ensuring all properties are well-maintained and comply with regulations.Key Responsibilities:Leadership: Lead the Estates building teams to meet the Trustees'' objectives for the built portfolio.Budget Management: Plan and manage the annual building maintenance budget.Maintenance Oversight: Develop and regularly review preventative maintenance plans.Team Supervision: Supervise Estates building surveyors and in-house maintenance teams.Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation and statutory regulations.Project Management: Oversee maintenance and refurbishment projects from start to finish.Industry Awareness: Stay updated with industry trends and apply them to portfolio management.Security Responsibilities:Maintain secure premises and promote staff awareness of security protocols.Organise inspections of vacant properties.Be available for out-of-hours on-call duties.GDPR Responsibilities:Support staff in complying with data privacy policies.Ensure processes for data subject rights and retention schedules are in place.Additional Duties:Attend relevant training courses.Familiarise yourself with the Estate Handbook and supporting policies.Follow reasonable instructions from the manager.Qualifications:Relevant Building or Surveying qualification.RICS, ..... full job details .....
