Accounts and Audit Manager Our client is a well established and highly respected accounting firm, based in Epsom, Surrey. They currently seek a qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant, ideally with previous audit and managerial experience. This is a key role within the firm and you will be working closely with the Partners. The firm has a broad client portfolio (predominantly SME''s and limited companies) with some not-for-profit organisations too. You will also manage and develop a small team to ensure the timely production of high-quality work. This role will suit an ambitious individual and excellent career prospects are offered, which may result in a direct route to Partnership. The role is varied (circa 80% Accounts and 20% Audit) and suits a well organised, self motivated individual, who can inspire and develop others, whilst building strong working relationships with existing and new clients. The core responsibilities include: Dealing with a varied client portfolio including partnerships, sole trader and limited companies. Some year-end accounts preparation for review by Partner. Assistance with preparation and reporting of management accounts. Assistance with preparation and submission of VAT returns. Preparation of corporation tax computations and supporting returns. Lead on and carry out audits, as and when required, training others in the team and reviewing work.
