A new opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Controller to join the University''s Finance team. In this senior role within the Finance Leadership team, reporting to the Executive Director of Finance, you will provide leadership, management, and delivery of the central Finance function of circa 200 staff. This will encompass financial accounting, accounts payable and receivable, credit control, tax and treasury, pay and pensions, finance systems and management accounts reporting functions. Utilising your significant experience and leadership abilities, you will ensure that these functions deliver significant value to the University, offering an excellent service, and helping to shape and deliver the University''s strategic goals and objectives. You will also provide trusted and insightful financial and management reporting to drive the execution of the University strategy and ensure the achievement of strategic financial goals, including operating cash targets, covenant monitoring, and comparative analysis.
