Accounts Manager Malvern £30,000-£33,000p/a Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Accounts Manager to join their team. They are looking for a dedicated professional eager to make a decisive impact on the organisations financial management and growth. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the Accounts Department, including the management of a team of three staff members. Maintain and manage year-end accounts up to trial balance for 13 sets of accounts. Handle Self-Assessment, personal account records, and liaise with external Accountants. Manage financial processes including sales and purchase ledgers, payment runs, and bank reconciliations. Maintain and update loan and mortgage schedules Process payroll for up to 80 staff (salaried, hourly, daily, and weekly), including timesheet verification and pension management. Submit monthly/annual pension records and complete HMRC PAYE submissions. Manage payroll journals, deferred income, interest, and intercompany transactions. Ensure compliance with VAT and other regulatory filings. Address staff inquiries related to payroll, pensions, and taxes. Oversee holiday records and assist with other administrative duties as needed. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in financial management and payroll processing. Knowledge of systems such as Xero preferred. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and schedules.
