Role Lecturer/Assessor in Early Years/Childcare Location: Merseyside Type: Temporary or Permanent (Part time 2 days per week) Rate 30 per hour (temp) 31500 - 35500 (full time equivalent) is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer/Assessor in Early Years Childcare to join a leading Further Education College in Merseyside. This is a part time role that consists of a Friday online teaching and one other day of your choice assessing in nurseries across the Merseyside area. As a Lecturer/Assessor, you will: As a Lecturer/Assessor in Early Years/Childcare you will: Deliver engaging and inspiring teaching sessions to learners pursuing qualifications in Early Years and Childcare. Provide tailored support to learners to ensure their success in both academic and practical components of their course. Assess learners work and placements to meet awarding body standards. Have own transport and driving licence The successful candidate will have: A relevant qualification in Early Years Childcare (Level 3 or above). A recognised Assessors award (i.e TAQA CAVA A1 or D Units) A recognised teaching qualification (or be working towards one). Experience in assessing learners and supporting their development.
