With a number of recent promotions and nearly doubling the size of their team in the past 3 years, they are on the lookout for a Procurement Manager for their Essex based office. This is a newly created role, reporting into the Group Financial Controller within a team of 15. You will be responsible for 2 direct team members and oversee all procurement and facilities for the business. Responsibilities - Oversee the business, facilities and procurement functions within the company Manage and mentor a team of 2 Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing and selection Manage 25 suppliers with a mixture of global and independent brands Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards. Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
