As an Assistant Management Accountant, you willsupport the Management Accountant in delivering timely and accuratemonthly management accounts and improving current reports andprocesses. This position is a 9-month FTC coveringParental/Maternity Leave.KeyRequirements:At least 3 years ofexperience in management accounting, particularly in journalpreparation, with proven expertise in balance sheetmanagement.Advanced Excel skills, including the use ofpivot tables and formulas, are essential requirements of the role.System-wise, familiarity with SUN and QandA systems ispreferred.Key responsibilitiesinclude Assisting withthe preparation of balance sheet reconciliations in collaborationwith the Financial Accounting team. Ensuringmanagement accounting tasks are up to date under the direction ofthe Management Accountant (MA). Preparingmonthly and quarterly reports, ensuring timely production ofmonthly financial statements. Driving Valuefor Money across the organisation. Completingmonthly journals with appropriate supportingdocumentation. Supporting the annualproduction of financial statements and external auditpreparation. Managing the full cycle of HOMEfoundation transactions. Participating inprocess improvement initiatives following systemimplementation.
