Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM UK and Ireland is recruiting an experienced Finance Administrator. This position will involve a mixture of working from home and our Camberley office. BAM operates a flexible working policy. Your mission Work closely in a small team with a significant high volume of transactions, must be focussed on delivery. Engage closely with all stakeholders most notably Procurement and Commercial in order to pay material suppliers promptly and accurately. • Validate invoice header data to check for correct PO number, VAT, Company Name and all other data agree to the invoice image. Identify duplicates, organise corrections and coordinate the provision of credit notes. • This is validation in Alusta Basware and transferred to SAP for payment • Proactively and efficiently dealing with high volume supplier queries. • Team mailbox management and the forwarding of PDF invoices to the OCR system • Assist with ad hoc department projects as required. • Supplier statement reconciliations Who are we looking for? Ideally you would have worked within the construction industry. You have had some experience with working in an accounts department. You have strong administrative skills, with the emphasis on accuracy rather than speed. You should have strong communication skills to be able to liaise with other departments/clients in a professional manner at all levels and most important, be an enthusiastic team player who takes pride in the work.
