I am recruiting a Finance Manager to provide maternity cover for a successful pharmaceutical business based in Cambridge. The role is due to start in January and is being recruited as a 15 month, fixed term contract. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the following; Drive and oversee month end close Responsible for sales revenue and inventory accounting, including liaising with supply chain Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reporting to parent company Review and sign off all balance sheet reconciliations Lead contact for year end and interim audit processes with external auditors Prepare and submit VAT returns Lead and manage payroll processes, liaising with payroll bureau, this includes monthly processing and annual review and sign off for P11D, P60 and PSA processes Ad-hoc analysis of operating costs and support budget holders in managing expenditure Support budgeting and forecasting processes as required Interested candidates will be qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, coupled with relevant experience. You will possess strong Excel skills and analytical skills and should have some knowledge of payroll. This role is offered on a hybrid basis, 3 days per week in the office and two days from home.
