The role is based in North Londonplease only apply if you are part-qualified and strong with month endMAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLEThe Finance Officer forms an essential part of the finance team responsible of maintaining of efficient and accurate accounting function to the Charity AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:Purchase ledger duties, managing the purchase order system, processing invoices and expenses and preparing payment and supplier reconciliations, dealing with supplier queries.Responsible for the recording of petty cash transactionsCredit card processing, updating ledger and monthly reconciliationMonthly Reconciliation of Accounts Receivables and chasing outstanding paymentUpdating cashbook/ nominal ledger with payments and receiptsWorking with Finance Manager to complete monthly bank reconciliations for review by Financial Controller (FC) / Finance Director (FD)Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accountsPreparation of quarterly VAT returns for review by FC/FDReconciliation of balance sheet accounts as directed by FD/ FCResponsible for all filing to be done in a timely and accurate mannerAssisting with month end journals and preparation of management accounts and board packs.Providing support to the Finance Manager and Financial controller.Providing support/cover on SmartGiving daily consolidations, charity payment runs, bank transfers and other finance related matters.Ad hoc tasks as requested by the Finance FD/FCPerson SpecificationPart or fully qualified accountant, (ACA, ..... full job details .....
