Freelance Project Manager - National Travel Role 500/550 Per day Inside IR35 (and Expenses)Remote working with National TravelAs a Project Manager, you''ll oversee a diverse programme of works for clients such as the Canal and River Trust and other organisations managing river, canal, and reservoir assets. Projects will range from emergency response schemes to maintenance and capital works, requiring both technical expertise and strong organisational skills. This role involves national travel to various project sites.Key Responsibilities:End-to-End Project Delivery: Collaborate with Estimating, Commercial, and Project Management teams to take projects from concept through to pricing, execution, and closure.Team Performance: Oversee and assess the performance of the Site Management Team, implementing improvements where necessary.Documentation Oversight: Review and approve critical site documentation, including Construction Phase Plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).Stakeholder Engagement: Manage operational communication and relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies (e.g., the Environment Agency). Provide regular, accurate reports and forecasts to all stakeholders.Project Fulfillment: Ensure all contracts are executed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards while maximising profitability and customer satisfaction.
