Our Birmingham based client is currently looking to take on a Accounts Assistant to be based out of their offices on a full time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join for a small vibrant team who provide themselves on the service they provide. You tasks will include but limited to To process any payments into the business on a daily - weekly basis Raise and issue invoices to clients Reconciliations of bank receipts for clients Liaise and work closely with other departments within the business Credit control Deal with any accounting enquires relating to clients Admin duties within department You will have experience of working in an accounts department and have a good understanding of commercial accounting as well as being confident speaking to customers on the phone. Exposure to a banking system would be beneficial as well as taking card payments.
