Inclusive Consulting is thrilled to partner with a well-established and growing company in Sheffield, renowned for its commitment to operational excellence. We are recruiting a detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their finance team in a permanent position. This role will be key to maintaining the company''s cash flow, managing outstanding debt, and building strong relationships with customers. Role Responsibilities Manage and maintain the credit control process, including chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and letter. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any disputes or discrepancies promptly. Ensure timely collection of payments and help to minimize overdue debts. Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing and resolve any queries. Prepare regular reports on aged debt and highlight any risks or issues to senior management. Assist with month-end processes and contribute to the overall cash flow forecasting. Person Specification Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable, ideally within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Able to work independently and manage a varied workload with minimal supervision. A good understanding of credit control systems and Microsoft Excel.
