Their approach blends semi-formal teaching with a child-led curriculum, prioritising each student s unique interests and passions to foster engagement and growth.The Role:They are seeking a compassionate and innovative teacher to lead a class of primary-aged children with PDA. As a PDA Teacher, you will create a semi-formal learning environment that empowers students through their core interests.A Typical Day Includes: Morning Learning: 20-30 minutes of semi-formal teaching in Mathematics, English, and Reading.Afternoon Subjects: Facilitating lessons in Science, Computing, Citizenship/PSHE, Creative Arts, PE, and Humanities.Encouraging backdoor learning by tailoring the curriculum to the children s passions and incorporating hands-on, child-led activities.Collaborating with children to design individualised curriculum plans that nurture their creativity and curiosity.
