The prison is run by His Majesty''s Prison Service.Your new roleIn your new role as a Security Officer, you will be working alongside the operational security team. You will have many different responsibilities, which include escorting contractors as they carry out maintenance work around the prison, visitor and toolkit checks, main gate duties and vehicle searches. You will also ensure the safety of visitors when assisting them around the site, while making sure no unauthorised items enter the Prison.Shift pattern: Wednesday - Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm (1-hour lunch break). 24 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.It is a long-term temporary contract on an ongoing basis.Your hourly rates are as follows and inclusive of holidays:Standard: £13.75 P/ HourWeekday overtime: £17.41 P/ HourWeekend overtime: £22.92 P/ HourWhat you''ll need to succeedYour new role does not require any experience as full training is provided.
