Trinity Business Support are currently working in partnership with a client based near Halifax in their search for a Environmental Health and Safety Manager. Due to continued business growth, our client is now looking to add this role to their ever-increasing team. Our client is a market leader in the PVC compound industry, supplying clients worldwide. Primary Role: As part of the Senior Management Team, the EHS Manager will support employees across the site in promoting a positive culture through strong leadership and high levels of engagement and best practices. With a range of niche products and processes across the site, the EHS Manager has a direct hands-on approach that is confident delivering training and implementing new and innovative ideas. Duties and Responsibilities include: Ensure legal compliance for health and safety in the workplace by conducting regular audits and inspections to make sure the highest standards are consistently maintained Lead training with new and existing members of staff whilst identifying and assisting in any staff development opportunities Use continuous improvement techniques to improve and sustain the health, safety and environmental performance and management system Ensure incident investigations are conducted in a timely manner, including root cause analysis and corrective action is undertaken Assist and support in the creation, implementation and review of Risk Assessments, safe working procedures and method statements Delivery ..... full job details .....
