Our client, a leading global manufacturer based in Farnborough, is looking for a Transactional Finance Manager to oversee their Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team, ensuring that both internal and external requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have experience in credit control and accounts payable, along with a proven track record of supervising or managing a small team. Transactional Finance Manager - About The Role This role will report into the European Financial Controller and main duties include: Supervision and administration of sales and purchase ledger accounts Manage a team of two staff members (Credit Controller and Accounts Payable Clerk) Communicating with customers to collect outstanding debts Performing and reviewing credit checks, setting up new accounts, and managing credit limits Collaborating with other departments to facilitate debt collection Handling supplier queries, maintaining effective communication Setting up new supplier accounts and preparing payments Processing and matching purchase invoices, ensuring proper authorisation per company policy and accurate coding Prepare monthly reports for accounts payable and credit control Monitor and manage KPIs The successful Transactional Finance Manager will have: Credit control and/or accounts payable experience Experience of managing people and working with multiple departments Experience of working with customers and/or suppliers Ability to work well and deliver results to deadlines ..... full job details .....
