As the businesses'' subject matter expert for all HSE matters, you will business partner to embed best practice across the organisation There is a significant personal development plan on offer for the right candidate. There will be occasional travel to a sister site in rural Suffolk.Core duties include:Reporting to the Operations Director, act as Company Health and Safety expert supporting the creation, implementation, development, monitoring, and review of safety arrangementsMonitoring and enforcement of relevant safety rules and statutory safety requirements.Responsible for the creation, communication, and implementation of safety initiativesWork with any external advisors to ensure the business is working to current best practice for health and safetyAct as chair of the Safety Committee reporting to managementFull in-house auditing of HandS systems and trainingOversee the QMS system for the businessIf you''re looking to step up in your Health and Safety career in a business that truly values and develops its people, this could be the role for you!
