We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistants for a school near Harehills, which caters to a cohort of 60 children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is a full-time, long-term contract position with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. About the Role:As part of a supportive and dynamic team, you will be working closely with a diverse group of children, including those with complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Of the 60 children at the school, 14 have complex SEND and additional needs. A third of children enter school not school ready , so your role will be key in helping them develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to succeed as they progress through school. You ll need to be proactive, creative, and flexible, as this role is hands-on and requires a mix of support both in and out of the classroom.
