We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable and resilient English teacher to work in a secondary school in Oldham for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).This is a temporary full-time long-term supply role for a qualified English teacher from January to July 2025. The RoleEnglish Teacher for secondary aged pupils with SEMH needsMonday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.Positive confident behaviour management skillsInnovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the differing needs and levels of students.Students will be of mixed ability, age and backgrounds.A teacher with strong leadership skills able to direct and effectively TAs to managing challenging behaviour while engaging, motivating and building strong relationships with your pupils.You will also need to collaborate with school management, parents and outside professionals.The school are keen to meet with QTS English teachers and SEND teachers with a degree in English or similar subject and early career English teachers with an interest in SEND teaching.
